Billowing clouds of gratitude are gathered over my little El Cerrito apartment, and the wind is dispersing them to YOU, Shiloh, Jenafer and all my sparkling sisters for this month of inspiration into action. I am energized by what has transpired here in just 30 days! I feel so proud about beginning to implement my new offering, and having formed a team of enthusiastic and experienced marketing experts that are raring to go. I am also proud of myself for leading this community of SPARKers for five days, and experienced the deepening of the SPARK connection. I put my social media plan into effect, and came up with a offering for my business that will attract new clients–and a higher level of client. This surprise was sprung directly from my SPARKING this month. !SPARK! is invaluable: a soulful accountability web that keeps me on track and tuned into my inner workings. I will connect to !SPARK! again and again.
SPARK is a great place to PLAY!, to support and be supported, to engage anew, and to connect with what is true and authentic for oneself, and bear witness to other engaging, inspiring, creative women of spirit. [Through !SPARK!] I took time to appreciate all the new connections – creative, people, ideas that came into being this year. I awakened to a new self that seeks not to be driven by the carrot and stick, but by engaging in play and finding my flow. I reengaged with my sense of Self that wants to say YES! to opportunities as they present themselves! I identified several patterns to how I like to play and create that I will build on in the coming months. I gathered a multitude of seeds that I want to nurture in the coming year which I will plant in ways that are fun, playful, and engaging to me and fellow players!… I identified and connected more deeply with what play means to me.
I feel so proud about…achieving my focus desire! I wanted to get back in touch with my creative & spiritual self & I have! I wake up in the mornings now with joy, love & excitement for me & my life & how it’s so beautifully unfolding. [Through SPARKING] I broke through the hum-drum thinking of my anal-retentive self who was constantly house cleaning and taking care of my son & husband and I found ME again! I reunited with the POWERFUL energy of being amongst a group of creative & spiritual women….. It felt so GOOD to be here everyday listening about all of your beautiful lives & witnessing your growth along with my own….it was like being back at summer camp as a girl where you make lifelong friends in a matter of days, weeks & don’t know how you’ll go on without them when you leave! I’m going to miss you all so much!
It is tremendously helpful for me to be witnessed by a powerful community of sparkling women, women who are all stepping up to accomplish their dream goals. 08/2010
WOW! that was a fabulous mechanical bull ride. I am steeped like a tea bag in a big cup ‘o gratitude… this forum of wonderful women gave me a sense of feminine like-mindedness I had not experienced for quite some time. It has been a joy!
This has been a wonderfully focusing experience for me. And, the community that was created almost immediately was truly sweet, tender and empowering. Thank you for SPARKING so many of us in all the ways you “show up” as artist, writer, revolutionary, leader and cheerleader, daughter, wife/partner, friend. I have thoroughly appreciated this opportunity and welcome the occasion to do more work with you, Mary and Ali.
For me, SPARK gave me a place to share my desires and a group that supported my journey to obtain those desires. At first, I started out a bit slow, but the more I participated and the more I worked the program, the more I received. The community was very important to me after the first week or so. It took me a bit to get into the swing of it. I was a bit leery because I did not know the other women in the group. But once a few women started sharing from a deeper place, the doors started to open for me to share from a deeper place. I was very disappointed when the program ended, so I am thrilled that we are doing the SPARK program again.
Spark is about inspiration and support. It is a place where one can safely share and explore dreams, goals, visions, truths, celebrations, challenges and confessions with other women. There is power in setting intentions and giving them one’s attention on a daily basis and even more so when there are others there to witness it and support you in that journey.
