Testimonials
Greetings from the other side of an amazing weekend! I am holding onto the precious sharing and wisdom of this past weekend and wanted to thank you all for the gift of that time together with other women, the ideas shared, the art, the exuberance – all of it. Shiloh, your spiritual yet practical guidance roots me – "don't wait for inspiration" may be one of the most important things I've ever heard. Elizabeth, your sparkling exuberance and beautiful art and your joy joy joy inspire me. I really enjoyed all of the women and girls who were there and felt like each one taught me something or inspired some new way of thinking in me. ~ Ann Foley
I can't tell you how much it meant to me to take your beaded lady workshop. It seems my spirit has awakened from some long sleep and it is because of you and Shiloh and your sharing hearts that I look forward to my creative journey inward where rainbow colors await and dreams are portals to wonder and delight. ~ Lynda Weir
Thanks, again, to both you & Shiloh for an incredibly enchanting weekend. I am still floating around, spreading my glitter & philosophy on the world. I feel all the more certain of my calling after the enlightening weekend at the Palace of the Soul. I see endless possibilities in my life, my art, & my home. I thought I had an artsy house until I visited the Palace!!!! oh, the possibilities now!!!! Thank you both, again, so much for opening your home, your hearts, & your visions to all of us. ~ Susan Risse

Her fine art paintings are represented and collected all over the world, and she has been a gallery owner for over 12 years. Inspired by her love of combining word and image, she has illustrated and published over seven books. Shiloh's current project is The Red Thread Cafe, Revolutionary Tea and Transformation where she works with individuals and groups using creativity as a tool for healing and self-discovery.

I allow myself to be drawn to objects, colors or symbols and it is often these which inspire the direction I take. The use of reflective materials holds fascination for me because it represents the constant change and motion which are symbolic of life’s transience. My art captures shifting essences and is sensitive, like myself to external variations of light and environment. When I paint, it is usually with spray bottle in hand and I let the images emerge from the colors and the drips blending into each other. I travel through my creations, snippets of memory emerge in an altered form, the different selves that I have become throughout my life, combined with universal archetypes which I allow to surface from my unconscious. I am drawn to themes of transfiguration out of this world, to transformation and metamorphosis.
